Tragedy In Avnei Chafetz: Child Left In Vehicle Is Pronounced Dead [VIDEO]
It is reported the child was in the parked vehicle “for some time” before being discovered. The child was pulled from the vehicle prior to the arrival of EMS.
According to MDA EMT Avraham Ben Tolila, the child was in the vehicle for a number of hours before being discovered and found by him to be in cardiac arrest. CPR was initiated on the one-year-old girl as she was transported to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava in critical condition.
A Zaka official explains the mother was supposed to bring the child to a community daycare but forgot her in the vehicle, leaving the area in another vehicle. She returned five hours later to take the child from the daycare center and found her in the car.
Despite all the efforts, the child was pronounced dead in the hospital.
