RIBONO SHEL OLAM

MY WIFE WAS READING THE HAMODIA ABOUT SOME RABBI SHE ASKED IF I HAD SEEN HIM.  ( I made a point when I was in eretz yisroel as a bocher and I also went to the U.S.A. to see as many gedolim as I was able to).
I SAID TO HER NO I HAD NOT SEEN THIS RABBI.
I ALSO SAID TO HER TO-DAY I MAKE A POINT OF SEEING THE RIBONO SHEL OLAM WHERE AND IN WHAT I CAN.
THERE IS A STORY WHICH MY TWIN BROTHER TOLD ME.
A MAN DROVE INTO A CAR PARK AND COULD NOT FIND WHERE TO PARK.
HE TURNED TO THE RIBONO SHEL OLAM AND SAID: " PLEASE G=D FIND ME SOMEWHERE TO PARK."
HE HAD JUST FINISHED THESE WORDS AND HE SAW SOMEONE DRIVING OUT OF A PARKING SPOT.
HE TURNED TO G=D  AND SAID : " I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP ANYMORE, I FOUND A PLACE."
I SEE G=D EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY, TO ME HE IS A LIVING G=D, HE IS THERE FOR ME ALL THE TIME.
IT IS ONLY STUPID PEOPLE WHO DO NOT RECOGNISE THAT G=D IS THERE FOR YOU EVERY SECOND, OPEN YOUR EYES AND YOU WILL SEE IT YOURSELF.
LIKE I DO.
MY SUCCESS IN THE YOU TUBE, BLOGS ,AND TELEVISION IS ONLY THERE TO TEACH AND SHOW PEOPLE FRUM OR NOT FRUM, HOW TO HAVE BELIEVE IN G=D IN TO-DAY'S WORLD.
EVERY LITTLE BIT OF BELIEVE GIVES THE RIBONO SHEL OLAM MUCH SATISFACTION.

We are Jews, and Jews follow Hashem’s Torah. Shabbos, tefillin and kashrus are three out of the 613 mitzvos as is living in Eretz Yisrael - although the mitzvoh of living in Eretz Yisrael is qualitatively equal to the sum of all the other mitzvos, as stated in Sifray, parshas Re’ay chapter 80:

Residence in Eretz Yisrael is equal to all the other mitzvos of the Torah

I am in Eretz Yisrael for the same reason I keep Shabbos, kosher and put on tefillin - because it is Hashem’s will as dictated in the Torah.

I pay my taxes and drive carefully because that is the way of the Torah.

I served in the army because it is a mitzvoh to defend the Holy Land and not because we are Zionists.

Zionism began with Herzl. Our devotion to Eretz Yisrael began 3,500 years ago on a hill in the Golan, when Hashem said to Avraham (Beresheet 15:18)

I have given this land to your descendants from the river of Egypt (the Nile) up to the great river of Prat (Euphrates).

Here the Holy Temple was built to connect the spiritual and material worlds; here the Sanhedrin defined the Halacha, and here the national character of Hashem’s chosen people was shaped.

ERETZ YISROEL IS VERY NICE BUT THE TORAH AND LEARNING IS MORE IMPORTANT

Dear Rabbi Gaby Lock,

If, as you say, you preach the word of G-D to the irreligious, then I suggest that you take instruction in writing English. Non frummers who read your prose cannot make head or tail of your English. Bear in mind that the greatest Rabbis in our history spoke and wrote in the language of the country in which they lived. In the past when our people needed refuge they were represented before the authorities by English speaking frum Jews. You owe your freedom and your freedom of speech to those good G-D fearing men. They wore English clothes and they did not have beards, your father knew them well. So please learn how to speak and write the language of the country which allows you to speak your mind. If you do then your message will be heard and better understood.

This is not a criticism of you or your message.

An old friend
